The patent pending Phoenix Extreme Tension Dual Film Roll Carriage provides a solution in cases where very high film force is required. Two layers of film are offset and roped on the edges before passing through the pre-stretch rollers. Once through, a nearly unbreakable film is formed by bonding both layers together. The result is a film that can be used with extremely high film force and load retention. This is accomplished in less time and less revolutions than conventional carriages. This carriage has the capacity to use 2×30” rolls of film or 2×20” rolls of film and can be offset to create a 30” web.
