The Phoenix 3 axis Top Cap DIspensing System uses a top platen that is lowered to the top of the load. Mounted to the top platen there is a spring loaded tab folders for each side of the load. These folders passively fold the edge of the top cap and hold them in place until the film encapsulates the top cap. The top platen then lifts the folders up from under the film. Each folder is independantly spring loaded to ensure no damage is done to the product if the load enters the wrapper askewed.
