Phoenix Integral Top Sheet Dispenser For PRRA System “Water Tight Cycle”

The video features the PRRA-4000 Rotary Ring stretch wrapper with integrated top sheet dispenser. The top sheet is dispensed automatically and is ideal for use where pallets are exposed to the elements, dusty environments or dirt. The video demonstrate the PRRA-4000 performing a “Water Tight Cycle”.

When the top sheet application mode is selected, the stretch wrapper starts a normal wrap cycle and spirals wrapping the product to the top. After applying a top wrap, the wrapping cycle pauses as the top sheet dispenser applies a top sheet, cuts the sheet to the required length, and then applies the sheet over the top of the load. The wrapper then continues its’ cycle by overwrapping the top sheet and locking it in place before spiraling down to complete the cycle.

Since the top sheet is applied over the top of the side layers any water will run off the top sheet and flow down the outside of the “shingled” side layers.
